Student Grade Access via ParentCONNECT

Posted in Uncategorized by houstonmustangs on September 6, 2013

ParentCONNECTxp is the parent portal for PowerSchool SMS. Letters on green sheets of paper were sent home with students today. Some students did not have accounts generated, and the administration is working to rectify this situation.

Via ParentCONNECT, parents have online access to:
– daily assignments and grades, including current averages for the nine-week period; electronic copies of progress reports and report cards for the current school year;attendance information including period by period tardies and excused and unexcused absences; office disciplinary referrals; district announcements; and email alerts which automatically occur when there is a discipline incident (office referral),
unexcused absence, tardy, missing assignment, or failing assignment.

**Important note: grades are only updated once per day in the ParentCONNECT system. They are not instantaneous as in years past.
