Houston High Junior Scores Perfect 36 on ACT

Posted in Uncategorized by houstonmustangs on March 27, 2012

Congratulations to Tyler Covin of Houston High School! Tyler, a junior at HHS, scored a perfect 36 on his ACT. According to ACT, less than one-tenth of one percent of all test-takers earn a perfect score. In 2011, more than 1.6 million students took the ACT, and less than 800 received a perfect 36. Tyler is a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club, and he qualified for the state DECA competition this year in the Accounting Series. He is also very active in his community as part of the Youth Leadership program in Collierville and plays wide receiver for the Mustangs football team. Tyler has not yet picked a college to attend after his senior year, but says he plans to pursue a degree in the engineering field
