HHS Faculty participate in Operation Feed
HHS Faculty members assembled 2,016 emergency meal kits to be donated to the Mid-South Food Bank as a part of Operation: Feed. The faculty were led by student members of FBLA who had participated in a similar event at a conference and led a similar event as part of the HHS Student Think Tank.
FBLA Faculty sponsor Josephine Hammond spearheaded the event for the faculty, and she and the FBLA hope to organize a larger event with other student groups on campus.
The school-wide event will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2011. Every group that participates will also make a contribution to purchase the dried food to package. Members of the school community are welcome to attend and/or contribute to the cost of the dried food.
